Jonathan Mak, you might remember him, yeah, he solely created Everyday Shooter. That game which was $9.99 USD and will be $9.99 USD on Steam as well, but for now it'll be at $8.99 USD.
This game is abnormaly fun, I would know from experience with it, and is worth a purchase from you the consumer.
Wes Cherry, creator of Solitaire for Windows had recieved a load of Questions from readers at B3TA and had answered them, in only 11 months! What great time!
If you had been paid $1 for every game of ms solitaire ever played, would you be in any fit state to do this interview? It took me 11 months to answer these bloody questions. If you cheapos would have actually paid me I might have not been so tardy. So buck up!
Heh heh, he called them "cheapos."
I would like to compensate you for your fabulous game since Bill Gates won't. How much money do you want? One penny per copy. If everybody pitches in, I promise to throw you all a big party.
Are there any cheats? What are they? Yup. When playing Draw Three, you can hold down Ctrl-Shift-Alt and click on the deck to get one card. That makes most games winnable.

Developer Blizzard Entertainment has acquired the Diablo3.com domain name from a Diablo fan community web site, but suggested that the acquisition is not a hint of a forthcoming announcement for a new Diablo title.
The website had been running a countdown timer on its front page over the last several days, leading many to speculate that the site was set to break news of a new title in Blizzard's beloved hack-and-slash PC RPG series. The site's webmaster said that Blizzard denied any connection between the domain acquisition and a new Diablo game.
"[W]hile Blizzard is indeed acquiring the diablo3.com domain name, they told me that this shouldn't be considered an announcement for the Diablo 3 game we've been waiting for all these years," the webmaster wrote in an update. "While this is true, I personally can't help but think that this is a confirmation of sorts that they're working on the next Diablo game."
The Diablo3.com domain name now redirects to DiabloFans.com, the new home of the Diablo community website, to aid in the transition of the domain.

Crysis and Far Cry creator Crytek has revealed its intent to focus more on consoles and move away from creating PC-exclusive titles due to the "huge piracy" problems of the platform.
"We are going to support PC, but not exclusive anymore," Crytek president Cevat Yerli told PC Play. "Similar games [to Crysis] on consoles sell factors of 4-5 more. It was a big lesson for us and I believe we won't have PC exclusives as we did with Crysis in future."
The studio had previously revealed it was working on at least one console title and a non-FPS game along with the still-underway efforts to bring its CryENGINE 2 technology to consoles.
The Crytek president noted that piracy had significantly hurt the retail performance of Crysis, the company's CryENGINE 2-powered PC-exclusive sci-fi shooter that arrived last fall and went on to sell over a million copies worldwide.
"We are suffering currently from the huge piracy that is encompassing Crysis," he continued. "We seem to lead the charts in piracy by a large margin, a chart leading that is not desirable."
Yerli went on to state his belief that piracy is "the core problem of PC gaming...to the degree that pirate games inherently destroy the platform." His comments are similar in tone to those made by many other PC developers, including id, Epic and Infinity Ward.
UK publisher Codemasters revealed that it has purchased Sega's UK Racing Studio. Previous owner Sega recently announced its intent to close the studio, citing a mandate to ensure each branch remained profitable.
The sole game to be developed and released by Sega Racing Studio was Sega Rally Revo (PC, PS3, X360, PSP) in 2007. The acquisition provides the company with the opportunity to work on such well-received Codemasters racing franchises as Colin McRae and Race Driver.
"In seizing this opportunity, we have created additional resources to escalate our plans in the racing segment," stated Codemasters chief executive Rod Cousens. "We hope to welcome more than 40 people to the company.
"We have enjoyed the full co-operation of our friends at Sega in making this happen," he continued. "It is good business for Codemasters, an exciting prospect and there will be more to come as we are not content to stand still."
A trio of Russian developers have revealed that they are all collaborating on an alternate-history PC strategy title that pits former Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin against invading Martians.
Titled Stalin vs. Martians, the game is billed as "the natural choice for anyone bored of hundreds and hundreds identical 'World War II strategies'" as well as "the perfect choice for anyone who just hates the strategy genre."
Set in 1942, it begins as Martians invade Russia, forcing Stalin to lead the military's anti-extraterrestrial troops into battle.
Developed by Black Wing Foundation, Dreamlore and N-Game Studios, Stalin vs. Martians is expected to release this fall. No North American publisher has been announced.
It seems Square is finally making a smart move and selling the game with all the four expansion packs as one. But with how much population on FFXI has fallen it makes you wonder if all of this was done in a last ditch effort to save a dieing MMO. Read the rest of the article to see what you think.
"Square Enix has announced the May 23 release of Final Fantasy XI 2008 Edition, a new retail collection which includes the original Final Fantasy XI game plus all four expansions: Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urghan and Wings of the Goddess.
"The world of Final Fantasy XI continues to grow with both new content and new players. Final Fantasy XI 2008 Edition allows interested players to join the adventure with the bonus of all the expansion pack content. I hope many more players enjoy and experience the exciting world of Vana'diel and all that Final Fantasy XI has to offer," said John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix.
In Final Fantasy XI players enter the world of Vana'diel during the aftermath of a great war. The MMO was the first to enable PC, Xbox 360 and PS2 (North America and Japan only) gamers to play together, uniting to save the world from destruction.
Final Fantasy XI 2008 Edition will be released in Europe and other PAL territories on May 23, 2008."(Videogamer.com)
Prince feels Amano-inspired. Looks like a celluloid/animated character (a bit like SFIV). The style itself is still in progress. - Corrupted world needs to be healed. - Story is much more "1001 Nights"-like, more fantasy, less grounded in reality but instead more magical yet still credible, more poetic. - Player must unleash light-wells to heal the corrupted world, which shoots light into the sky, reminiscent of SotC and Okami. - The transformation of the world is in real-time, with plants growing back to life as the world heals back and as the player can still move, instead of a mere cutscene, sky changes back to its normal color, etc., to give a strong sense of control and success to the player. - No more time rewind and such. - They are not making a second Assassin's Creed, they are making a new PoP. - Art style was difficult pass through the management, but they never refused it, and eventually loved it. - Story specifically: Orhmaz and Arhiman, twin gods, one good one evil, celestial battle, Orhmaz locks Arhiman away in a box which he hides into an faraway oasis deep within a desert. Centuries pass, and comes a troublesome thief (the prince) and Arhiman is freed somehow (not deep explanation given). Prince must undo his mistake. This is what they refer to as a more "1001 Nights" kind of story, like a fable. - More open/organic environments. Has a Zelda-esque feel, old-school in themes. - Bosses/player use backgrounds during fights (one shot shows an enemy pushing the prince against a wall as if trying to choke him, or another throwing him in the air). - Game went through a few iterations; originally too open (felt big but not enough to do), at one point it was more like Assassin as far as open world (going where you want), but players would get lost and wander aimlessly and dynamism suffered as a result. Now instead it is more focussed with a clear road, but multiple paths can be taken (free to move from one map to another, back and forth, etc., more open than previous PoPs). - The demo map shown to the journalist, old of a few months, has been scrapped design-wise because it was too Assassin-like, now it's more fantasy design-wise. - Game world is made of nodes connected by paths, and you can go from one node to another as you wish (this is what they mean by less open, but non-linear; you can see the paths, but you don't have to going from A to B to C). The game adapts as a result (enemies from later visited locations might be more difficult, etc., for example zone A might be more difficult if you access it at the end, but if you accessed it at the beginning then it is easier, even bosses, depending on what order you fight them, adapt as such). - Prince can slide along any walls using his glove. Game is as much vertical as horizontal. - Prince has more possibilities of movement. - Bosses inspired by MGS' boss quality; they are fewer but they have a story, a reason to be, they leave more of an impression on the player. Some are former nobles, sometimes acting against their will. - They wondered if they should make just more enemies and try to do a God of War game and try to beat it on its own ground, or go for something different. They went with fewer enemies instead and a new combat style. Combats are duels. You can see the expression on the faces of the characters/bosses. Movement/action in fights is more like Advent Children, more cinematic in presentation. - 140 people working on it, more to come, people from many projects.
Those who pre-order the PC edition of Mass Effect at participating retailers will get $10 off the sci-fi RPG's $49.99 MSRP when it hits May 27, publisher Electronic Arts has revealed.
While the company did not provide a complete list of those "participating retailers," it named GameStop, Amazon.com and GoGamer.com in today's announcement.
It should be noted that the discount does not apply to EA's own online store. Instead, those who pre-order Mass Effect PC from the EA Store will, while supplies last, receive trinkets--including a poster and a comic book--from EA Redwood Shores' space horror effort Dead Space (PC, PS3, X360).
Originally developed by now-EA subsidiary BioWare and released on Xbox 360 last fall, Mass Effect was ported to the PC with the aid of indie developer Demiurge Studios. The PC edition sports a number of additions and improvements, such as free downloadable content and a redesigned interface.
