Looks pretty good, but I have to say, that water looks like it was created in the early stages of the PS2 days. I hope this is fixed within the next 60% of the Pre-Alpha stage. Other than that, the vegetation looks cool and the Monster Trucks look appetizine.
Jonathan Mak, you might remember him, yeah, he solely created Everyday Shooter. That game which was $9.99 USD and will be $9.99 USD on Steam as well, but for now it'll be at $8.99 USD.
This game is abnormaly fun, I would know from experience with it, and is worth a purchase from you the consumer.
So here's this new clip of Crash Bandicoot Mind Over Mutant.
When did he get a mohawk and tatoos? This game is going to be on the Wii. Sad Playstation owners? Doesn't look great to me, but hey, it might to you. Also on the DS, PSP, PS2 and 360. Headed out this Fall.
Yes, along with everything else coming out tomorrow, here comes Haze, the playable Demo. Yay!
Some interesting things though, drop-in, drop-out 4 player online/LAN co-op and there's multiplayer and then there's how awesome it's going to be because it's Haze.
First off, PixelJunk Monsters Encore will be available TOMORROW from the Playstation Store at $5.99. The new Tiki Island will be available and the island in between Tiki and Toki will be super-secretive.
So, some stats, GTA IV has made over $500 million in the first week alone. They wold 6 million copies globally, and 3.6 million of those copies were sold on launch day.
Talk about beating Halo 3! Halo 3 only made $300 million in its first week. But to be fair, Halo 3 was only on the 360 while GTA IV was on the PS3 and 360 which undoubtably improved sales.
But that's a good thing. I mean, what with Killzone 2 being delayed until Feb. 2009, this'll be a good way to promote it even further. I'm digging the awesome masks.
I hope the Metal Gear Solid sackboy makes it in, along with the Ratchet and Clank ones that will have to be included. If not, there better be some DLC bringing my Ratchet and Clank on LBP.
The Opening scene for Secret Agent Clank has been released:
This looks like a must-have PSP title. I will definitely force my friend into purchasing it on June 12th. Nah, I'm just kidding, but I'll make sure he gets it.
I love how the beginning is set up too. The scene was excellent and the graphics look great for a PSP game.
Yeah, so along with the delay until Feb. 2009, here are some shots of Killzone 2. Hopefully this game is incredibly polished, solid, have a nice single player and likewise have a solid multiplayer.
LittleBigPlanet has been set back but a month, not too much of a costly move. Until October, so we are ok there.
Now as for Killzone 2, that'll take a while to get to. February of 2009, ouch. That's about a year and a half delay from the original release date right? That's not too good. But if this game delivers, no one will remember the delays.
Motorstorm 2 has now been given an official name and official details.
It is now called Pacific Rift, the environment will be interactible, bigger vehicles can crush terrain and the smaller vehicles have to dodge or follow, water cools down engines and a whole slew of astounding features for the Hawaiian-styled island.
Gets a date! June 17th, 2008. Available on UMD, looking into the PSN and there will be a demo.
There was this video on Gamespot called "On the Spot," where you can see some footage. From 13:20 to 20:25 or so. It shows some Qwark gameplay footage and likewise shows some Clank gameplay footage where he upgrades his Cufflink Bombs and his Venus Fly Trap.
Yes, it's quite a memorable week this week, as this week 10 years ago, the DUALSHOCK for the original Playstation came out.
Yes, Playstation wasn't the first with analog sticks, that was Nintendo, yes, it wasn't the first with rumble, wasn't that the N64? But this controller is the only controller to last for 3 consoles. The Playstation, the Playstation 2 and the Playstation 3. 10 long years.
The SIXAXIS was a surprise when announced, and when Immersion and Sony fixed up their problems, the DUALSHOCK 3 was announced. Let's hope the controller stays the same for a long time as well. This controller happens to be my favourtie controller. I'm not being a fanboy, but it just handles better than other controllers in my opinion. Congrats DUALSHOCK!
